Crafted from a sturdy anodized aluminum that has an added protective oxide coating that protects the structure by making the surface harder than natural aluminum. While at the same time giving the metal a porous outside layer that absorbs dyes easier to make it possible to produce a colored surface that is scratch resistant. The 24 ribbed frame is secured to the post with strong high impact PVC hubs which are highly versatile and have weather resistant attributes to support this 8.5 foot dodecagon valence canopy. The fabric of this canopy is crafted from 100% solution dyed acrylic Sunbrella fabric. That is an industry leading extremely durable fabric that can withstand everything from heavy wind and rain to the harsh mid-day sun. This canopy is also treated with a fluorocarbon finish which enhances water repellency preventing the umbrella shade from molding or mildewing. The Shanghai Garden Umbrella also carries a three-year warranty against fading allowing the umbrella to reside in direct sunlight with no worries of loosing its rich vibrant color. Conveniently open and close the canopy of this garden market umbrella by using a crank lift system. In which a sturdy stainless steel cable is position inside the umbrella post to assist in turning the crank in a rotary motion to allow the canopy to raise or lower effortlessly. The Shanghai Garden Umbrella is also specially designed with a twisting collar tilting mechanism that is conveniently located at table level making it accessible to tilt the umbrella to an infinite number of positions either by sitting or standing.
