Halliana Japanese Honeysuckle
The Japanese Honeysuckle Holliana, ‘Lonicera japonica,’ produces delightfully fragrant, whitish-yellow flowers. This is a very fast growing plant that can climb to a height of fifteen to thirty feet. When utilized as a groundcover, it will reach a mounded height of about two feet. This is the most commonly seen Honeysuckle, and is capable of covering huge amounts of space in short periods of time. Also called Hall’s Honeysuckle, this vine can be quite invasive and makes a great groundcover on banks and slopes to help prevent erosion.
